Privacy Policy

This notice applies to the Zihnex: Self-Discovery mobile app published on Google Play (package: com.zihnex.tools). The app offers educational self-awareness tools; it does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or therapy.
Data controller
The data controller is Zihnex. For requests about your personal data, contact info@zihnex.com.tr.
Data we collect
- Email address and account identity when you sign in (for authentication)
- Tool work content stored on device (local-first; synced to the cloud only after consent / merge)
- Anonymous device id and aggregate analytics events (free-text thoughts/answers are not sent)
- Push notification token when you grant permission
- Advertising ID (AdMob) when ads are enabled by admin settings; personalization requires UMP consent
- Optional language preference and app settings (on device)
- Optional birth month/day if you enable the birthday surprise feature (may be saved to your account)
- Optional counselor email address (only when you explicitly choose to share)
- Optional personal emergency contact name/number — stored on device only; the app does not access your address book
Optional device permissions (not required to use the app)
- Notifications: for reminders and push (when you enable them)
- Emergency dialing: opens the system phone app (`tel:`) with a number you saved or the country emergency number; no contacts permission and no silent/background calls
Data we do not require
- Location is not required and is not requested for emergency features
- Contacts (address book), microphone recording, and camera access are not used
- You may continue as a guest; guest records stay on this device only
Purposes
We process data to run the app, authenticate your account, email results when you ask, deliver notifications, measure performance and product improvement, show ads (when enabled), and open the system dialer with an emergency number you saved when you choose to.
Retention and security
Local work data may be encrypted on device. Cloud records are transmitted over HTTPS. Audit records retained for legal or security reasons are deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period.

Your rights
Under applicable privacy rules you may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent via info@zihnex.com.tr. For account deletion use Settings → Data deletion in the app or the account deletion page.
Children
The app is designed for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
